Overview
The ICS Triplex 9832 is a redundant, fault-tolerant Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) from Rockwell Automation. It is designed for use in safety-critical applications where downtime is unacceptable. The ICS Triplex 9832 uses a triple-modular redundancy (TMR) architecture to provide fault tolerance. This means that the system has three independent processing units, each of which executes the same program. If one of the processing units fails, the other two can continue to operate without interruption.
