The Allen Bradley 1756-DHRIO is a communication module that allows ControlLogix controllers to communicate with devices on Data Highway Plus (DH+) and Remote I/O networks. It provides two independent communication channels, each of which can be configured for DH+ or Remote I/O operation. The 1756-DHRIO supports a variety of communication protocols, including DH+ messaging, Control and Information Protocol (CIP) messaging, and block transfers.
