Overview
The AB 1746-HSCE is a high-speed counter module for the SLC 500 family of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). It is designed for applications that require precise counting of high-speed pulses, such as those from quadrature encoders and other high-speed switches. The module has a single counting input and four outputs, and it can count pulses at frequencies of up to 50 kHz.

• Counting resolution: 1 µs
• Output types: NPN, PNP, or open collector
• Analog input range: 5 V, 12 V, or 24 V DC
• Analog output range: 0 V to 10 V DC
