ABB RLM02 PROFIBUS Redundancy Link Module Brand New In Stock

The ABB RLM02 is a redundancy link module for PROFIBUS DP and FMS networks. It is designed to convert a non-redundant PROFIBUS line into two redundant RS485 lines or vice versa. This allows users to create a redundant PROFIBUS network that is more resistant to failures.


The RLM02 ABB has a number of features that make it a popular choice for generator control, including:

• Converts a non-redundant PROFIBUS line into two redundant RS485 lines or vice versa
• Supports transmission rates of 9.6 kbit/s to 12 Mbit/s
• Serves up to 31 PROFIBUS slaves
• Transparent for PROFIBUS configuration, i.e. no slave address required
• Errors are signaled via an LED on the front panel and a signaling contact
