The Emerson EPRO CON021+PR6426/010-130 is an eddy current sensor and signal converter system designed for non-contact measurement of the thickness and conductivity of metals. It uses eddy currents, which are electrical currents induced in a conductor by a changing magnetic field, to measure these properties. The sensor generates a magnetic field and measures the eddy currents generated in the target metal. The properties of the eddy currents are related to the thickness and conductivity of the metal.
