The Foxboro REF-62F-0824 is a Field Control Processor (FCP) that is part of the Foxboro Evo™ family of distributed control systems (DCS). FCPs are powerful and versatile controllers that can be used to improve process control performance, reduce costs and complexity, increase reliability and availability, and enhance scalability and flexibility.

The REF-62F-0824 is a rugged, modular controller that can be mounted in harsh environments. It has a variety of I/O options and can be programmed using a variety of programming languages. The REF-62F-0824 is also fault-tolerant, which means that it can continue to operate even if one or more of its modules fail.
