EPRO A6370 Eddy-Current Sensor

Overview
The Emerson EPRO A6370 is a heavy-duty monitor specifically designed to prevent catastrophic overspeed events in rotating machinery. It forms part of a larger safety system called the AMS 6300 SIS. The A6370 continuously monitors the speed of rotating equipment and triggers safety measures if the speed exceeds a predetermined safe limit. These safety measures may include shutting down the machine, activating an alarm, or initiating other protective actions.

The A6370 is designed for use with a variety of sensors, including Eddy-Current sensors, Hall-Element sensors, and Magnetic (VR) Sensors. It can be used with single-channel or multi-channel applications and can be configured to monitor multiple shafts.
