The ABB RED670 1MRK002810-AC is a line differential protection Intelligent Electronic Device (IED) used for the protection, control, and monitoring of overhead lines and cables in all types of networks. It is suitable for protection of heavily loaded lines and multi-terminal lines where the requirement for tripping is one-, two-, and/or three pole. The IED is also suitable for protection of cable feeders to generator blocks.
